First Stone of the Nelson Mandela International Airport

April 2015: The Prime Minister was present this Monday, April 27, at the act for the first Stone of the expansion and modernization of the Nelson Mandela International Airport, in the city of Praia, Santiago Island. The Armando Cunha, will be responsible for the execution of the Lot 2 of the project, which include the expansion of aircraft parking with more 10.000 m2, and have capacity for 9 aircrafts. The work budgeted at about 200 million capeverdean escudos, will be completed within 18 months.
